Environment Working Group

In response to an ongoing series of issues relating to the local environment, we have formed a working group chosen from members to look into potential paths to solutions.

The group is now set, being made up of members and interested parties. Meetings will be monthly with possible additional meeting arrange in response to specific issues.

Background:

Barrowell Green sits on the edge of the New River near Winchmore Hill, Enfield. Over recent years, there have various significant changes in building use, increases in car ownership and waste management issues. These changes have impacted on the people and environment to varying degrees. The purpose of this newly formed group is three fold:

1. To identify specific issues and the impacts of these issues.

2. To gather and collate information and experience of these impacts and wider issues.

3. To formulate an action plan with clear aims and time scales.

Findings will be deceminated throughout the membership and this two way process allows for feedback from any members. Get intouch in the usual way.
